Tropical Traditions Coconut Oil Review and Giveaway ENDED!!

I love coconut oil! So I was pretty excited when I got to try out Tropical Traditions handmade virgin coconut oil! When I first opened the package I wanted to taste it right away! So what did I do? I spooned out a small spoonful to see if it tasted any different then the other coconut oil I was used to! I was surprised to find that it tasted fresher! Probably due to the fact that they make it within 24 hours of actually picking the coconuts! I had my husband and sister taste it too! My husband had never tasted coconut oil before and he seamed to like it. Whereas my sister loves coconut oil (I think it must be the only oil she uses) and she loved it! She too said that it tasted fresher! :-) 

When I tried it while cooking it gives a very nice coconut aroma in the kitchen! I thought that the food would end up tasting a bit like coconut, but to my surprise I didn't taste any coconut in it at all! My husband didn't taste any coconut in it either. I am very excited to try it in more of my cooking!

I also really enjoyed watching this video on how they discovered virgin coconut oil! I always get excited when I know that people pick the best possible fruit or vegetable and then they use it right away! :-)
