Green Resolutions Sponsor Spotlight Post ~Green Toys~

Another one of our sponsors for the Green Resolutions Giveaway Hop is Green Toys!

Green Toys is a toy company that makes toys out of recycled milk jugs! They carry some fun looking sets of toys like a Tool Set, a Tea Set, a Sand Play Set, and much more!!

From Green Toys Website (about their blocks):
"Green Toys™ Blocks are the world’s most environmentally friendly basic building set. All 18 boldly colored blocks are oversized and lightweight, making it super easy for tiny hands to stack and unstack. This unique block set includes a variety of shapes for building castles, towers, or any imaginative structure budding architects can dream up. Most importantly, Green Toys Blocks are safe. No BPA, PVC, phthalates or external coatings, but plenty of Good Green Fun™. These blocks are made in the USA from 100% recycled plastic milk containers that save energy and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Packaged using only recycled and recyclable materials and printed with soy inks."

These blocks came just in time for Christmas! So I got to watch my daughter play with them on Christmas Eve. :-) She's not quite to the building age yet, but she still enjoyed playing with them! Especially when Dada helped her make a tower! ;-)

My Opinion:
In my opinion there is no better toy then one that causes a child to use their brain and helps them learn something! I love blocks because the child learns to make things and learns to use their imagination! These blocks are especially nice for younger children (6 months+) because of the larger size and the lightweight makes them easier for the little one to grab hold of!

Buy it: If you would like to purchase your own blocks visit Green Toys!

Win it: If you would like your chance to win a set of the blocks look for the Green Resolutions Giveaway hop starting January 16th where Green Toys will be giving away one (1) set of blocks to one of Mama's Sew Sweet Baby readers! :-)

Green Resolutions Sponsor Spotlight post ~Baby Bee Haven~

I'm pretty excited about the Green Resolutions Giveaway hop! :-) It's going to be fun! For all you readers out there who love green things you'll want to keep your eyes open for the giveaway (or should I say giveaways ;-) ) coming up January 16th! :-)

On Mama's Sew Sweet Baby blog our first sponsor is Baby Bee Haven! :-)

Baby Bee Haven sent me a diaper cover to review for the Green Resolutions giveaway hop!

Look at how sweetly wrapped it came!

I just love the colors she has to chose from! You should head over to her Baby Bee Haven shop and look at all the cute covers she has! Besides covers she also sells wipes, wet bags, and darling booties! :-)

Here is the cover I choose being worn by my darling little girl! I put two inserts in it because she was about to head down for a nap!

Since I took that picture she has worn it many times! I have gotten several comments about it when she wears it out. Everyone thinks it's simply the cutest diaper! :-) I happen to agree!

My Opinion: I love everything about this diaper cover! It keeps everything in perfectly and it is super easy to clean! :-) I have some diapers that I call my "nighttime diapers". Because they actually last the night! When I tried this one through the night I was so happy to find that I now have another "nighttime diaper"!! :-) I can stuff it with as many or as few inserts I need and it still fits wonderfully!

Buy it: If you would like to purchase your own Darling Diaper Cover visit Baby Bee Haven!

Win it: If you would like your chance to win a Baby Bee Haven Diaper Cover look for the Green Resolutions Giveaway hop starting January 16th where Baby Bee Haven will be giving away one (1) Diaper Cover to one of Mama's Sew Sweet Baby readers! :-)

Teething Bling Review and Giveaway

"We all know how much babies love to grab and chew. For that reason, most moms don’t wear jewelry when their children are young. We are changing that!

Teething Bling® is the original teething jewelry. Made from the same FDA-approved material as most teething toys, our pendants and bangles look great on the adult wearer but are safe for curious babies to handle and chew.
Our products are non-toxic, phthalate, BPA, PVC, latex and lead free and all pendants come with a breakaway clasp as an added safety measure."

My teething bling!
My Opinion: My daughter chews on EVERYTHING! I think that there are few babies out there that don't chew. For those of you with chewing babies Teething Bling makes pretty accessories for mama that are safe for baby! :-) I do like to wear jewelry and pretty things, but I don't want something important, or expensive getting broken. For the most part we have trained our daughter to 'not touch' some jewelry, but accidents do happen nonetheless. However when wearing a Teething Bling Necklace you don't have to worry about it! They can chew away to their hearts content! :-) And you can look fashionable in the meantime! ;-)

Buy it: Go to Teething Bling to purchase your own bling! :-)

Win it: Want your chance to win? Teething Bling is going to be giving away one (1) of Mama's Sew Sweet Baby readers their own Ring Pendant ! Enter through the rafflecopter form below (comments will not count as entries unless stated in the rafflecopter form):

Tropical Traditions Organic Raw Honey Review and Giveaway

From Tropical Traditions Website:

"A Raw Product from the Wilderness
Tropical Traditions Organic Raw Honey comes from the frontier areas of Canada, and is only harvested during a 6-week period in the summer. Tropical Traditions is the exclusive source of this premium organic honey in the U.S. Most commercial honeys available on the market today come from bee farms, where the bees are controlled within a certain area and get their pollen from usually only one kind of flower. Many of the plants that produce these flowers (clover, orange blossom, etc.) are grown with pesticides and fertilizers as well. In addition, almost all honeys on the market are pasteurized in high heat and filtered, removing many of the beneficial nutrients and enzymes.
Tropical Traditions Organic Raw Honey has not been subjected to the heat of processing, only warmed enough to flow (same temperatures the honey would see inside the hive). We select only premium honey that is pure, smooth and creamy, with the consistency of soft margarine at harvest. It contains live yeast and enzymes, because it has not been processed. It also contains pollen because it has not been filtered—merely screened.
Fine textured crystals are characteristic of totally pure, unheated, unprocessed, raw honey. Properly crystallized honey has a fine, smooth texture. Crystallized honey preserves natural goodness and doesn’t drip. The more rapidly honey crystallizes the finer the texture will be. It will also turn harder over time as it crystallizes. Truly raw honeys do not deteriorate with age, but like fine wines, continue to age and develop into more complex tastes."

My opinion:
I have been falling in love with all of Tropical Traditions products! I have not disliked anything I've tried from them so far! But I must say that I think that their Honey is by far my favorite product from them, not to mention my favorite honey ever!

I am a HUGE honey eater! It's my favorite sweetener. I use it in canning (instead of sugar), I use it to sweeten my hot cereal for breakfast, I use it in desserts, tea, and much more! When I receive my honey from Tropical Traditions I was pretty excited to try it. I tasted it with a spoon and it was seriously amazing! It was so good I had to share it with my family! My mom and sisters loved it too! In fact my mom loved it so much she is planning on making an order to get some!

If you get a chance you should order some! I don't think you would be disappointed! Especially if you are as much of a honey eater as I! ;-)

Buy it: The 17.6 oz. glass jar is on sale right now for $12.99
